New Acronym for CodeMacLife
journalLife changes. So does my blog.
When I started CodeMacLife, it was a simple representation of the
different aspects of my life β computing, Apple products, and
self-improvement.
But as time went on, my focus shifted towards my career, quality
of life, and the things that truly matter to me.
Reflecting on these changes, I realised that the original meaning
behind CodeMacLife no longer resonated with where I am now. So, I
decided to revamp it with a new acronym that better reflects the topics
I write about and care about.
Here is what CodeMacLife represents now:
- C: Capture meaningful moments
- O: Organise thoughtfully
- D: Delve deep to distill the essence of information.
- E: Express to help others grow
- M: Mindfully embrace challenges
- A: Achieve financial freedom through active effort.
- C: Cultivate well-being and minimalism
- L: Live a life you want to live
- I: Internalise confidence
- F: Foster a growth mindset and resilience
- E: Essentialism anchors everything
Improving by 1 percent isnβt particularly notable β sometimes it isnβt even noticeable β but it can be far more meaningful, especially in the long run. - James Clear (Atomic Habits)
I believe this is a mantra to help me move forwards. As James Clear said in his book, Atomic Habits: Tiny Changes, Remarkable Results: βWe all deal with setbacks but in the long run, the quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits.β
CodeMaclIfe is not simple a domain name, it is a step forwards
towards better living.
As always, thank you
for taking the time to read my blog.
