Minimalist May - Day 15
challengeI’m half way there. Technically, tomorrow lunchtime will be the halfway
mark. I’m excited to end this challenge. I’m not sure what will be
staying and what will go at the end of this experiment. I’ve lost half a
stone in fifteen days. Ideally, I would like to see my weight drop to
fourteen stone by the end of the month.
Diet
I was back to the porridge this morning. Part of me wanted to add a little drop of sugar into my porridge, which I knew would be wrong of me. I resisted.
I settled with a veggie stir-fry with noodles for lunch and moroccan chicken with chips in the evening. There were no temptations or urges to snack today. If only this was the case every day.
Finance
I had to take a trip to the local supermarket for some items that were missed off the weekly shop. A total of £7.50 (est. $9.50) was spent. Nothing to concern myself about, to be honest.
Caffeine
The desire for coffee today was huge. I haven’t stopped myself from drinking it, but I want to see how long I can go without it. Moreover, I know if I had one, I could get the headaches again after stopping once more. Luckily, there desire passed and I did without.
Exercise
Press-ups and planks in the morning and evening. I managed to squeeze in a 5K cross-training session around 9pm, which is not what I wanted to do after a busy day.
Sleep
I went to bed on time. However, there must have been something on my mind because I was restless last night. Cue the multiple yawns throughout the day, as well as surges of low energy. Fingers crossed for a better night’s sleep tonight.
My post is part of #WeblogPoMo2024. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post.
