First impressions of Voicenotes
applicationsDiscovering the Sixth Essential App: Revolutionising Productivity with Voicenotes
Thirteen days after posting my popular blog on the five
essential apps I use every day to organise my life, I believe I have
found the sixth!
Voicenotes by Coping Hard
Inc has become an integral part of my daily routine in just four short
days. It’s remarkable how quickly this tool has established itself
alongside the five other apps I use consistently every day.
The ease of transcribing voice notes into text is truly
impressive. From there, the possibilities seem endless — creating
tweets, summaries, and even blog posts becomes a seamless process. This
efficiency is a game-changer for content creation and idea
documentation. It even creates a title for each voice recording!
Two of the standout features that I’ve come to appreciate is the
ability to tag and share voice notes with others. This functionality
opens up new avenues for collaboration and idea-sharing, making it an
invaluable tool for both personal and professional use.
Perhaps the most exciting discovery has been the ‘Ask AI’ feature.
This innovative tool allows users to ask questions using their own
recorded notes as a language model. The implications of this are
profound — it’s like having a personalised AI assistant that understands
and draws from your thoughts and ideas.
As I continue to explore and integrate voice notes into my daily life, I’m increasingly convinced of their potential to revolutionise how we capture, process, and share information. It’s not just a tool; it’s a new way of thinking and working that promises to enhance productivity and creativity in ways we’re only beginning to understand.
VoiceNotes offers a wide array of useful features I appreciate greatly:
• Download audio files for offline access.
• Create summaries, to-do lists, tweets, and blog posts from your notes.
• AI content regeneration for improved results.
• Compose emails directly from your voice notes.
• Automatic clean-up feature for better organisation.
• Tagging system for easy categorisation and searching.
• Seamless integration of voice recording and text-based features.
• Versatile tool for capturing and expanding on ideas.
• Remarkable user experience with intuitive functionality.
• Ranking system to see how you compare to other voice note users.
The Future of Voicenotes
Voicenotes prides itself on privacy, securing notes privately on their servers. Your recordings are not used for AI training. They believe in longevity, which means resisting the influence of external stakeholders. That’s why Voicenotes is self-funded.
Being someone who has experienced the frustration of losing a
beloved app to acquisition, I truly feel happy to support Voicenotes
with a believer account. Furthermore, Jijo and Aleesha, creators of
Voicenotes had an inspirational, heartfelt backstory to why
Voicenotes was created. I recommend you take the time to watch it.
Voicenotes would like to progress and develop the app further. To
do so, they need to look at a subscription model that will bring in
additional funding. I believe this week (beginning of November 2024)
will be the last chance to get the believer account. For me, that was
£40 ($50ish). Even with a subscription, I believe Voicenotes is worth
every penny.
Voicenotes is available on iOS, Android, and web. I believe a
desktop app will be developed in the future. If you would like to know
more, I suggest you read their FAQ
page.
